I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and have lived in Hudson since 2015.  Lesley and I made the decision to raise our family here because of the highly ranked public school system, strong sense of community, charm of downtown and the level of thoughtfulness that goes into city planning and governance.

 

My sense of purpose is derived from leadership and community involvement.  I spent the last 20 years working in Corporate America and while I'm proud of the accomplishments and contributions I made, it wasn't giving me a sustained level of fulfillment.  I knew that I needed to make a change and I've spent the last year becoming a local entrepreneur and spending more time in the community.

The reason I chose to run for city council is because I want to help shape the future of Hudson and give a louder voice to my fellow residents who don't want partisanship in local government.  I believe we are at an inflection point because of newly elected leaders and generational changes.  While my tenure as a Hudson resident may be relatively short, I have a high level of respect for the history of Hudson.  At the same time, I'm also a millennial that appreciates modernization.

The dichotomy between preservation and modernization requires leadership that is pragmatic, open-minded and willing to put the views of the community above their own personal agenda.  As a Hudson City Councilman, I will do just that.
